Save time and report online!

Did you know that the Beaumont Police Department   allows citizens to make crime reports online? No waiting around for an officer, you can go online file your report and receive a report number right away. All reports filed are reviewed by a Watch Commander.

Using the online citizen police report system allows you to submit a report immediately and print a copy of the police report for free. You will be able to quickly provide a police report to insurance, banks, courts, etc. Find out if the online citizen police report filing is right for you:

  • Is this an Emergency? – If so, Dial 911
  • Did this incident occur outside the Beaumont Police Department City limits? – You will need to report the crime to the appropriate State, County or Local Municipality that the crime occurred in.
  • Are the suspects known? – If you know the suspects or have identifying information, please contact our non-emergency line at 951-769-8500 to file a report in person.
  • Did this occur on a state freeway? – If so, please contact the California Highway Patrol.

If you answered no to all of the above questions, you are ready to file a report online. To make a report online go to Beaumontpd.org/online-reporting. Using the Beaumont Police Department Police Online Citizen Reporting System you can report the following incident types:

  • Custody Order violations
  • Harassing Phone Call
  • Hit and Run
  • Identity Theft
  • Non injury Vehicle Accident
  • Lost Property
  • Theft
  • Vandalism
  • Vehicle Burglary
  • Vehicle Tampering

Please Note:

  • All cases filed using the Citizens Online Police Reporting System will be reviewed and if approved you will be emailed a case number and have the ability to download/print a copy of your report for your records.
  • Upon review, if further information in your case is needed, you may be contacted for additional information for your report to be approved.
  • Reports filed online are for documentation purposes only.
  • Filing a false police report is a crime.
