Recycling Programs

Inside the Community Center, located at 1310 Oak Valley Parkway, residents will find a green recycling container for the disposal of prescription drugs and medications. By disposing of unwanted drugs, residents can help to keep drugs off the street, prevent overdoses and accidental poisonings, and avoid environmental contamination.

Acceptable items - prescription pills, patches, and ointments, over the counter medication and vitamins and pet medications. Unacceptable items - hydrogen peroxide, inhalers, aerosol cans, lotions and fluids, sharps, and thermometers.

If you have small quantities of standard household batteries, you can dispose of them at the Beaumont Civic Center! Please no auto, lithium, watch (button) batteries. Please place tape on top of 9 volt batteries.

Recycle Days
Once a year, in the fall, the City hosts a Recycle Day where residents can dispose of scrap metal, green waste, bulky items, bottle and cans, electronic waste, documents for shredding and tires! This event is free and there is no limit on the amount of household recycling you can dispose of!
