Update: On Wednesday, December 29th, 2021, while conducting follow-up on this case, officers from the Beaumont Police Department spotted an adult male who matched the description of one of the subjects depicted in security cameras during the rash of vehicle vandalisms from December 27th. Officers detained the subject who admitted to damaging several vehicles. The subject was booked at Smith Correctional Facility in Banning for felony vandalism.
Officers are still attempting to identify the second subject, a female, who was wearing white or light colored leggings, a black hooded jacket and black boots. Beaumont, CA - This morning, December 27, 2021, the Beaumont Police Department received several calls from residents in the 500 blocks of Orange and Chestnut Avenues reporting vandalism to their vehicles. Officers responded and determined sometime between 1:00-2:00 a.m.two subjects captured on security cameras had slashed or punctured the tires of up to 23 different vehicles.
One subject appears to be a female wearing a black hooded jacket, possibly white or light colored leggings and black boots. The second subject appears to be a male wearing a short sleeved black shirt, black pants or jeans and black shoes.
