Beaumont, CA - The 4th of July is a week away and the Beaumont Police Department is urging residents to observe a safe and fire-free 4th of July holiday.
All fireworks in the City of Beaumont are prohibited (BMC 9.41), and violators are subject to fines of $1,000 or more for the use or possession of illegal fireworks within the City of Beaumont.
Dry, hot and drought conditions make this time of year especially dangerous for the wildland areas that surround the City of Beaumont. Protect our community, our pets, and your neighbors by leaving fireworks to the professionals.
