Beaumont, CA— Each year Beaumont staff and volunteers look forward to bringing holiday cheer to local seniors through the Thanksgiving Meal Delivery Program. The annual event provides hot Thanksgiving meals to homebound or disabled seniors living in Beaumont/Cherry Valley.
“We are grateful for the dozens of volunteers and donations that make this program possible”, stated Mayor Rey Santos. “This year has been hard on everyone, especially our homebound seniors who may not be able to visit with family due to the pandemic. By delivering these meals, we ensure that our most vulnerable residents are able to enjoy the holiday.”
Thanksgiving Dinner Delivery Program:
- Must be a senior living within 92223 zip code
- Must be homebound or disabled
- Delivery only – no pick-ups
The to-go style dinners will include the traditional Thanksgiving fare of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, vegetables, rolls, and condiments. And of course, there will be pie for dessert.
