2022 Beaumont Police Department Annual Report Cover

Beaumont, CA - As Chief of Police for the Beaumont Police Department, I am honored to present our Annual Report for 2022. Contained in this report are the details that outline the services the members of the Beaumont Police Department provide to our community daily. We included some highlights of 2022 as well.

The Department's primary concern is community safety. The men and women of the Beaumont Police Department are wholeheartedly committed to the goal of keeping our neighborhoods free from crime. From the officers on patrol to the officers working special assignments; from the Chief to the newest officer...all maintain a strong spirit of Commitment to Community.

The members of the Beaumont Police Department take tremendous pride in providing the public with outstanding police service and I am very proud of the reputation they have earned for contributing to the vibrancy and the quality of life our community enjoys. In return the Department enjoys a very high level of community support, without which we would not be as successful as we are.

The police department continues to hire additional police officers, public safety dispatchers and support personnel with a wealth of experience and a heart for public service. Our workforce continues to closely represent our ethnically diverse population. By leading with a community first approach, we established meaningful connections within our community. It is through these strategic partnerships that the Beaumont Police Department can deliver the highest quality of public safety services.

The Beaumont Police Department features many specialized details that play a critical role in the overall effectiveness of the Department. Specialized Details in the Operations Division consist of a two K9 teams, patrol drone program and Community Service Officers. The Support Division offers a Crime Suppression Unit that targets major offenders, four-person Motor Unit, a robust Investigations Unit, and specialized task forces. The department has a community policing team with emphasis on our business community and homeless / mental health outreach.

I want to thank all of you who have worked alongside us to keep our city safe. I am very proud of our police department and what we have accomplished, and I look forward to our continued service to all our residents.
