The ceremony will take place on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at Stewart Park located on the corner of Maple Avenue and 10th Street in Beaumont. This event marks the beginning of a transformative project that aims to create a vibrant and enjoyable public space for the entire community to enjoy.
The renovation of the 11-acre park, the most significant undertaking since its acquisition and development in 1939, is a testament to our commitment to enhancing our community’s quality of life in the City of Beaumont. Highlights include a year-round splash pad and multi-generational, inclusive playground equipment with shade structures, ADA pathways, new trees and plants and walkway lighting throughout the entire park.
