The City of Beaumont invites the youth of our community to participate in a Veterans Day Art & Essay Contest.
The top winners will receive recognition at this year’s Veterans Day Celebration which will take place on Thursday, November 11 at the Beaumont Civic Center at 11:00 a.m.
Participants may choose to submit an original art piece or essay/poem expressing, “What Veterans Day Means to You?” The winner of the essay contest will be invited to read their entry at the Veterans Day Celebration and the top three art entries will be displayed at the event. All winners will be featured in City publications and recognized by the Beaumont City Council.
Requirements:
- Contests are open to Beaumont residents 18 years and younger
- Essay/Poems must be of 250 words or less
- Art pieces may be in any medium
- All entries are due Monday, November 1, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
