Beaumont, CA - On April 17, 2022, at approximately 5:59 p.m., the Beaumont Police Department responded to an alarm activation in the 1100 block of Rain Lily Way. Officers arrived and found the home with obvious signs of a burglary. Officers searched the home, but no one was there. A witness reported seeing a Hispanic male leaving the area at the time of the burglary.
The homeowner reported damage inside the home, but did not report any items were taken during the burglary.
On April 20, 2022, at approximately 4:46 p.m., the Beaumont Police Department responded to a call from a resident reporting an attempted burglary at his home in the 1400 block of Begonia Way. The resident reported seeing two subjects hopping over his fence and attempting to enter his residence through a window. The resident confronted the subjects who were described as black males, wearing masks and gloves. There was a short altercation between the homeowner and subjects, but the subjects were able to flee the area in a black Honda Accord. The homeowner was uninjured.
