Beaumont, Ca - In October of 2014, the Beaumont City Council proclaimed the second Saturday of October as Public Safety Apprection Day. Today, being the second Saturday of October, the City held a ceremony to memorialize individuals who have dedicated their lives to a career in public safety. The following police and fire personnel have shown genuine care for the safety of the citizens of Beaumont and all the communities they have served:
Ronald Morning, Beaumont Police Department
Gary R. “Jaws” Eaves, Beaumont Police Department
Anthony Augustyn Jr., Beaumont Police Department
Vernon J. Haas, Beaumont Police Department
Craig White, Riverside County Fire
Those who were paid tribute to today were part of our community and exemplified a life of service. The addition of their names to the City of Beaumont’s Public Safety Memorial is a reminder to our community of their integrity and courage and the debts we owe to our public safety personnel.
