Chief's Message

Chief Christopher Ramos

Welcome to the Beaumont Police Department.

It is an honor to serve as the Chief of Police for a community as vibrant and growing as Beaumont.  As an organization, we are committed to providing the highest level of public safety through professionalism, transparency, and meaningful partnerships with those we serve.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality law enforcement service in the most effective and efficient manner possible.  Every member of our department, from patrol officers to professional staff, plays a vital role in achieving this mission.  We understand that public safety is a shared responsibility, and we believe that trust, crime prevention, and quality of life are all strengthened through our strong community relationships.

We will continually evolve to meet the needs of our growing and diverse population, by integrating new technologies and expanding community-based programs while prioritizing officer wellness and professional development, we are committed to delivering the highest level of service.  We recognize that trust is fragile. That’s why we emphasize accountability, open and effective communication, and ongoing training, to ensure we’re not only meeting the expectations of our community but continually striving to exceed them.  Whether it's through proactive policing, our community engagement programs, or our commitment to innovation in public safety, we continually strive to improve the services we provide.

As your Chief of Police, I remain focused on building a department that reflects the values and diversity of the community we serve. I believe in a leadership style rooted in collaboration, where every voice matters, both within the department and throughout our community.
